由于长期被社会冷漠对待的失读症,艺术家酉良将成长过程受到的嘲讽习惯性地卸落予
“观察”。她逐渐发现世界的全貌并不会在字语精英主义的影响下失去汁味,反而愈显闪烁。
那些指盼悠久信仰的社群里,字语甚至是低效的表达方式;“舞蹈、音乐、如儿童和野兽
一般原始且纯真的情感和只需对视就能感同身受的痛苦,这些情绪将我的视线和我与世界
的邂逅编织在一起,在这暧昧的对视中,我用我的方式学习这个世界。”酉良在日记中小心
又肯定地写下这些话。游历过中东、非洲等地的她,不仅找到了“只要看著走就可以走出
迷宮的黑色星星”,也擦拭出了自己那对独一无二的“黑色星星”。
这组摄影作品,在时间
的褶皱中,渐次展开富的生命图景。酉良用眼睛,“读”原生的植物皮肤和人工合成材料的
共性以探索生活的纹理,深入藏匿着祭祀龛的乱林,“读”那些沉默着、不耸立参天的坚毅
树木,“读”单行崖道上的人与人,贫瘠土地上的人与马、干涸沙漠中的骆驼与骆驼,万物
的羁绊,“读”温柔波澜映照着的生活潮汐,荒凉现实中鲜有的光彩,也“读”断根的水草、
佛像上的裂纹、无核的水晶桃,辛劳和干涸之本质。 “读”取的更宏大的场景便是,高架桥
与瀑布流水相互辉映,磅礴粗犷的自然生态和人类建设的壮丽结构相对立。结果一尊佛像
落住并茂的植物丛,不知是佛降临凡间,还是人类先前舍弃了神灵?河畔漫游的孩童或许
可以成为新的焦点……所有这些影像邀请我们一同探索元素间的微妙互动,生命存在的矛
盾与依恋,以及从最不经意的地方冒出的永恒美丽。
Due to a prolonged indifference from society towards her
dyslexia, the artist You Liang habitually unburdens the mockery she endured
during her growth onto the canvas of "observation." Gradually, she
discovers that the true essence of the world doesn't lose its flavour under the
influence of linguistic elitism; instead, it glimmers even more luminously.
In communities where enduring faith is fervently sought,
language itself becomes an inefficient mode of expression. "Dance, music,
primal and innocent emotions akin to children and beasts, and the pain felt
with just a glance—these emotions weave my gaze and my encounter with the world
together. In this ambiguous exchange of glances, I learn about the world in my
own way," writes You Liang carefully and confidently in her journal.
Having journeyed through the continents, she discovers the "black
stars" that guide her out of the maze by simply walking towards.
In this series of photographs, unfolding within the folds of
time, You Liang gradually reveals a rich tapestry of life. Through her eyes,
she "reads" the inherent texture of plant skins and artificially
synthesized materials, delving into the hidden chaos of sacrificial shrines.
She "reads" the resolute trees that stand silently and stoically on a
single-line cliff path, the interactions between people on barren lands, the
bonds between humans and horses, and the camels in the desolate desert. She “reads”
the constraints of all things, she "reads" the gentle tides
reflecting the ebb and flow of life, the rare brilliance in the desolation of
reality, and the essence of toil and desiccation in water grass, cracks on
Buddha statues, and seedless crystal peaches.
The grander scenes she "reads" include the
juxtaposition of an elevated bridge and cascading waterfalls, where the
majestic structures of nature and human construction stand in stark contrast. A
Buddha statue rests amidst lush vegetation—whether it's the deity descending to
earth or humanity abandoning the divine is uncertain. The children wandering by
the riverbank could perhaps become a new focal point. All these images invite
us to explore the subtle interactions between elements, the contradictions and
attachments of existence, and the eternal beauty that emerges from the most
casual of places.
